Dear ADSA membership,
It is our pleasure to report the following prize winning projects that were announced at the 2024 ADSA Interim Event in Brisbane last week.
Marlis Thiersch (best article or book chapter): Jane Woollard and Davina Wright, from the University of Tasmania, for ‘Rising and Falling: Phantom Projects and the Lived Experience of Funding Failure’, published in Performance Paradigm.
Rob Jordan (best book): Emma Cole, from the University of Queensland, for Punchdrunk on the Classics.
Philip Parsons (practice research project): Roxana Paun Trifan, Monash University, for ‘Interculturally… Chekov: Masha in Translation’.
Flinders University AusStage Prize: Kathryn Kelly and Tessa Rixon, from the Queensland University of Technology, for The Dramaturgy of Defunding project.
